About Department :
Home Science department provides training to the students at B.A. level. A lot of practical work is undertaken in the well equipped Home Science lab of the college.The department also organizes competitions for Mehndi designing, Rangoli, Knitting, Cooking, Embroidery etc. which help the students not only to be thorough in practical work but also to fare well when placed in competitive situations.Besides, this gives them confidence to be self-sufficient.The department organizes an end of the session exhibition-cum – sale of the handicrafts prepared by the students.

Department of Physical Education
About Department :
The college has excellent facilities for football, hockey, cricket, kabaddi, boxing, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table-tennis and kho-kho. Facilities include lush green playgrounds, well-maintained courts and latest equipment which conform to the desired standards. A well maintained track is also available for athletics. In disciplines like swimming and water-polo where the college does not have its own infrastructure, alternative arrangements are made exclusively for the college students. The college has a full fledged Physical Education Department in which there are qualified teachers and experienced coaches of national fame. The college utilizes the service of other sports experts as per the requirement from time to time. The teachers and the coaches provide training to young sports persons in various games and athletic events. The college organises two sports events every year -Principal Rala Ram Memorial Athletic Meet and Prof . Piara Singh Memorial Staff Badminton Tournament.the Sabha

Department of Music
About Department :
Music department imparts training to students at the graduation level in both Vocal and Instrumental streams. Students are trained not only from the examination point of view; rather they are prepared in such a manner as to be able to participate in competitions besides being able to give stage performances. Further, the Society for Promotion of Music arranges interactive sessions with renowned artists so that the students are benefitted from their experience.

About Department :
Fine Arts is an elective subject at the B.A. level.The Department tries to hone the creative skills of the students by providing thorough guidance in practical work.This includes sessions for Still Life,Landscape,Portrait Making,Collage Making,Poster Making and Clay Making etc.Students are also prepared for participation in the Youth Festival and other competitions held at Intra-College and Inter-College levels.Towards the end of each session,the creations of the budding artists are exhibited.
