A newly constructed block housing classrooms and office of D.A.V. Collegiate Senior Secondary School was named as Principal Major Raj Kumar Memorial Block to commemorate the memory of a former Principal of the college. This block, having modern amenities, has fifteen classrooms, an Examination Hall and a mini Auditorium.
