About Department : Ultra-modern Media and IT block is a step toward promoting IT and Media Vision amongst students. The Department of Computer Science and Applications runs many professional courses like B.C.A., B.Sc(Computer Application), P.G.D.C.A. and the much-coveted M.Sc.(IT). Sophisticated air-conditioned rooms with four Computer Labs and a Multimedia room, seminars on a regular basis and visits to Industrial Houses, High-Speed Connectivity are some of the unique features of the department. The highly qualified, young, and dynamic faculty keeps the students abreast of the latest trends in the field. Many of our Alumni are placed well in reputed companies like Infosys, IBM, Mahindra Finance, to name a few.

OUTCOME:
Computer Science is taught at U.G. as well as P.G. level.
In B.C.A students are taught to analyze and develop computer programs related to algorithms, web design, and mobile application design.
They are also taught to apply standard software engineering process and strategies in software project development using open source programming environment to deliver a quality product for business success.
In M.Sc. (IT), students gain understanding about techniques, technologies and methods used in managing and implementing information, technology systems.
After M.Sc. (IT) courses students have intellectual and conceptual foundation to play leading roles in the development of information technology industry.
Post-Graduation Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA) equips the students with skills required for designing and developing applications in information technology.
The courses in Computer Science train students to develop software and work as Consultants, Network Engineers, Programmers etc.
